Threaded Gate Valve Bronze G Thread

The bronze G-thread gate valve offers a compact isolation solution for water, air and compatible utility fluids, with sizes from DN15 to DN80, G½–G3 female connections and a PN20 designation. Its C83600 bronze body, bonnet and closing element provide corrosion resistance in suitable services, while the screwed bonnet and non-rising stem keep the operating height unchanged as the valve opens. A cast iron handwheel drives the brass stem to raise or lower the gate, allowing the flow passage to open with relatively little obstruction when fully open. PTFE packing and the listed EPDM sealing components should be matched to the fluid and operating temperature.
Potential uses include freshwater distribution, equipment cooling circuits, compressed-air branches, marine auxiliary piping and selected oil services where seal compatibility has been confirmed.
The G connection uses parallel threads, so a pressure-tight joint requires a suitable sealing interface rather than reliance on thread interference alone. Designed for on/off duty, the valve should normally remain fully open or fully closed to limit vibration and seating wear. Its small installation envelope makes it useful for equipment connections and maintenance shut-off points where access and pipework space are limited.
