Threaded Gate Valve Bronze Class 150
Intended for branch-line shutoff and equipment isolation, the Class 150 threaded bronze gate valve combines an RG5 bronze body, bonnet and wedge with NPT connections in sizes DN15–DN50 (½–2 inches). The screwed bonnet provides a compact assembly, while a brass stem and cast iron handwheel deliver gradual, multi-turn operation. PTFE and graphite sealing elements complete the listed construction. As the wedge lifts away from its seating position, it clears the main flow passage, allowing relatively low pressure loss during fully open service. Typical duties include freshwater supply, compressed-air distribution, lubrication circuits and auxiliary connections on industrial equipment or marine utility systems, provided the materials and operating limits suit the medium. The tapered NPT connection requires matching threads and a suitable joint sealant, making correct fitting selection important during installation or replacement.
