DIN Flanged Gate Valve Stainless Steel
The DIN flanged stainless steel gate valve is a PN25 isolation valve available in sizes DN50–DN500 for compatible process and utility piping. Specified to DIN 3352, it features DIN 3202 F5 face-to-face dimensions and raised-face connections to DIN 2501, providing a defined installation arrangement for new equipment and replacement projects. The listed non-rising-stem version incorporates CF8 or CF8M stainless steel body, bonnet and wedge components, a stainless steel stem and graphite packing. Rising-stem configurations are also available to accommodate different installation and operating requirements. During opening, the gate withdraws from the flow passage, limiting obstruction and providing low flow resistance when fully open.
Potential applications include chemical processing, petrochemical utilities, industrial water networks and selected steam, air, gas and oil services, with suitability determined by the specified alloy, sealing materials and operating conditions.
The flanged construction allows disconnection for maintenance, while stem-driven gate movement provides controlled opening and closing. Intended for on/off duty, the valve should normally remain fully open or fully closed to minimize vibration and seating wear.
